Sharing is a huge part of the web and Google Plus is an attempt to share stuff in a much simpler way. Plus name follows managers’ vision that the social network is a continuation of Google itself. It integrates several services like for example creating Circles – different people organised in certain categories – friends, family, acquaintances, colleagues – and thus to share the right stuff only with the right people.
Another service is Hangout, which promises to seriously beat Skype. It allows video conference with up to 10 people. A Hangout functionality is for example the possibility that several people watch simultaneously an YouTube video and comment it in a real time face-to-face chat.
Sparks automatically looks for videos and articles it thinks you will like, so when you are free, there is always something to watch, read or share.
Main feature of the project is protection of personal data and inviolability of the user.
Google Plus is accessed only via invitations.
The good news is that users do not need to log in Plus in order to use it, it is enough to open their email or any other Google service and the black command line up will show what is happening, what are the new comments, etc. And, in contrast to Facebook, limited to their platform only, Google Plus spreads out all Google sites. That promises success.
